Meet the Crew
Small crew. Real credentials.
We're a three-person operation — not a franchise, not a referral network. When you hire BOTG, you get us.
Hannah Jones
Co-owner · Certified Master Logger
Hannah grew up in the woods of the Pacific Northwest and has a great love for this place and its people. She has spent much of her career balancing skilled physical labor, including carpentry and forest work, with non-profit work supporting rural working families and the lands and waters we rely on. She is happiest when she gets to combine the two, which is why she is thrilled to be launching Boots on the Ground. In her spare time, Hannah likes to strum a good country waltz on the guitar, take her boat Aggie out fishing, restore old forgotten axes, and spend time with her family and friends.

Vince Reichheld
Co-owner · Forester
Vince grew up in New Hampshire, developing a love for the hardwood forests at a young age. After receiving an undergraduate degree in Forestry he worked as a forester, trail worker, timber cutter, and maple syrup maker. After moving to the Olympic Peninsula Vince worked on an arborist crew, as an apple grower, logger, timber cruiser and forest technician. Vince is passionate about working with small landowners, cutting trees and taking a systems approach to forestry. Vince is a volunteer EMT and rope rescue technician with Jefferson Search and Rescue. In his free time you'll most likely find him hanging out with friends and family, wandering around somewhere in the Olympics, freediving, or taking a nap.
